I'm pursuing a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Artificial Intelligence. My coursework includes biomedical signals and circuits, measuring instrumentation, machine learning, and biomedical imaging.
The person behind the work
About Me
I'm Ethan Hawes, a biomedical engineering student at Northwestern University with a minor in artificial intelligence. I'm interested in wearable and implantable sensors, particularly technologies that monitor vital signs and help guide treatment.
My experience includes fabricating wearable fluid-flow sensors in the Rogers Research Group, working on vital sign sensing as a Systems Engineering Intern at BD, and helping develop cast alternatives as an Engineering Intern at Cast21. These experiences have strengthened my interest in hands-on R&D, particularly building prototypes, designing experiments, and using data to improve device performance.

Leadership

As social chair for Northwestern's club rugby team, I organized team events and managed communications.
